Digital television
The station's digital signals, like most TBN stations operated and operated by other full services, carry five different TBN-run networks.
The full-power station owned by TBN permanently stopped analog transmission on April 16, 2009.
WHSG-TV turned off its analog signal, via channel UHF 63, on April 16, 2009. The station's digital signal remains on the pre-transition UHF channel 44, using PSIP to display WHSG-TV virtual channels as 63 on digital television receivers, High band UHF (52-69) removed from the use of broadcasting as a result of the transition.
The station's analogue transmitter is located north of Rockdale County, between Monroe and Atlanta. The digital facility of the station immediately south of the neighborhood of Inman Park Atlanta, along the north side of Interstate 20. This is the same tower used by WUPA (channel 69), built by the station when its original location (above the Westin Peachtree Plaza hotel) is not can withstand a second large TV antenna for digital, although WHSG and WUPA have moved to the North Druid Hills site, sharing the antenna through a diplexer. It also has WIRE-CD (channel 40), expired construction permissions for W06CM-D (channel 6), and licenses for WYGA-CD on channel 16 (as well as permissions for 18 and newer apps for 16 more). No serious damage occurred to the tower when the Atlanta 2008 tornado was passed by the site, although WYGA-CA 45 (which operates from the site under the STA at very low power until WGCL-TV (channel 46) goes digital) is thrown from the air. WHSG has applications to increase from 700 kW to maximum 1000 kW of effective radiation power with the same antenna height, which is now licensed on the new site.
