The Covenant Health System is a non-profit Catholic health care system that sponsors hospitals, nursing homes, assisted residence and other health and elder care services throughout New England.
The company was founded in 1983 by Montreal's Sisters of Charity, Gray Nuns, to direct, support and conduct health care, elderly care and social service systems throughout the United States. Currently, Covenant Health Systems serves as a sponsor, governance organization and manager of organizations related to health care and parents throughout New England. The Health System of the Agreement is a Catholic health organization committed to advancing the ministry of Jesus' healing.
