History
I-74/I-275 bridge accident
On 20 May 2008, a tractor-trailer transported a separate locomotive while traveling on the road from west I-74 to south I-275. After the trailer was released, it crashed support for the bridge on I-74 heading east past the ramp between I-275 and I-74 to the west. As a result, the Ohio Department of Transportation shut down east of I-74 for several weeks. Both ramps between I-74 west and I-275 are closed as well, because the bridge fears will collapse, but two crossovers are built so that traffic can use one lane from the west of I-74 to travel east around the damaged bridge.
