TVG2 (formerly HRTV ) is an American sports-oriented cable and satellite television digital network. It is part of the TVG Network and is owned by Paddy Power Betfair. Dedicated to horse racing, he broadcasts events from US and international horse races, as well as various horse competitions and English, news, original programs, and documentaries
The network was formerly known as HRTV, and is owned by Stronach Group. In February 2015, HRTV was acquired by Betfair, owner of the competing TVG Network. HRTV is consolidated into the Los Angeles TVG Network facility, and re-branded as TVG2 on October 28, 2015. The switch to the TVG facility also allows the network to start broadcasting in high definition.
