Network development

Following from the launch of the original JML Direct channel, there are a number of changes and expansions of the JML ranks. Most of these changes have affected channels on the Sky platform, but some JML channels are also available in Freesat and Freeview and the details of this operation are also listed below. Changes have occurred as follows:

eeZee tv

eeZee tv was launched at 10:00 on March 1, 2005, taking its place from the original JML Direct channel, showing a mix of JML and Kleeneze products ranging from Homewares to Beauty. This channel uses fixed price formats, which are similar to other UK shopping channels, such as QVC and Ideal World.

In early 2007, the live broadcast on eeZee TV was removed and replaced with previously recorded material. Subsequently it was decided that this step alone would not save the channel, and on 3 March 2007 JML recovered the EPG slot and turned it back into JML Direct TV . The channel continues to feature JML products, using presenter and ex-eeZee television studios for some previously recorded JML infomercials.

iBuy closure, two new JML channels

After the close of UK auction channel HSN iBuy and iBuy2 in early 2007, JML got a deal with HSN to take over their old EPG prime slot, near the top of the EPG Shopping at 631 and 632 (next to QVC). Then, at midnight on May 28, 2007, JML launched JML Direct TV on 631 and its Shop Now TV based channel on 632. At the same time, JML Direct Direct TV channel was renamed to JML Extra. Both channels named JML show JML products all the time, with Shop Now TV featuring products sourced from around the world.

On January 7, 2008, JML Direct TV was renamed to JML Direct 1 on Sky 631 and Shop Now TV was dropped and renamed JML Direct 2 on Sky 632. Many TV Shop Now's falling TV infomercials, even though those products that JML decided to defend it. in their lineup will continue to appear, although now under the JML brand. JML Extra on 657 remains as it used to be.

Vector Direct liquidation and two more JML channels

On December 23, 2007, it was announced that Vector Direct had decided to perform voluntary liquidation. This caused two of their Sky EPG slots on 652 and 656 up for sale. Then, on December 27, 2007, it was announced that JML had managed to buy two slots. Within almost a year, JML has grown from one channel operation to five.

On February 7, 2008, JML Direct 1 was rearranged for the second time, now simply as "JML". JML Direct 2 is rebranded JML Lifestyle and Extra JML renamed to JML Solutions. At this point, both 652 and 656 are still referred to as Vector 24/7 and Shop Vector in Sky EPG, although JML branded programming is now performed.

On February 19, 2008, both Vector Direct channels were renamed Sky EPG. Vector 24/7 became JML Choice in 652, and Shop Vector on 656 was rebranded under the title JML Innovation.

Further rebrands and reshuffles

On July 21, 2008, a complete reshuffle of the EPG from the 'Shopping' section of Sky occurred when most channels were shifted down 10 EPG slots to create more space in the 'Kids' section. As a result, the JML channel moved to 641, 642, 662, 666 and 667.

On September 6, 2008, JML Solutions (Sky 667) renamed JML Cookshop . This channel shows a mix of kitchen gadgets and cookware products, and introduces its own green graph instead of the usual blue color. It has now been renamed to JML Choice.

On September 23, 2008, JML Innovation was renamed to JML BeautyShop on the Sky 666 channel. This channel shows a mix of health and beauty products, and uses pink charts.

On March 2, 2009, JML BeautyShop was discontinued and renamed JML Lifestyle (the second time the name was used). This channel offers a wider range of health, home, beauty, food and leisure products. It was later renamed Active JML and has now been sold.

On June 15, 2011, Argos TV took over the Sky EPG slot from JML Cookshop, with JML Cookshop moving further down the EPG, replacing JML Choice. Argos has been hiring a Sky EPG slot from JML for 12 months to test the channel and also use the JML facility.

On November 3, 2012, JML Home & amp; DIY renamed to JML Living.

On January 18, 2013, JML Cookshop was closed. On May 1, 2013, JML Living was closed and replaced by The Boutique, a shopping channel run by The Broadcast House but still owned by JML. JML Living returned on May 13 as a replacement for Argos TV on Sky.

On August 19, 2014, another complete EPG reshuffle from the 'Shopping' section of Sky occurred when most channels were shifted down 10 EPG slots. As a result, the JML channel moved to 651, 652 and 663.

On May 1, 2018, another complete EPG reshuffle from the 'Shopping' section of Sky occurred when most channels were shifted down to 10 other EPG slots. As a result, the JML channel moved to 661.

Home Store

The Home Store is another spin-off channel from JML Direct. It was launched on May 1, 2013 as The Boutique, replacing JML Living. It was renamed to the Home Store on August 1, 2014.

Closing TV Warehouse

At the end of 2008, JML purchased two channels broadcasted under the name of the TV Warehouse. In the meantime, JML continues to broadcast its Warehouse TV products and continues to use the TV Warehouse brand, with the only visible changes being the addition of titlecard featuring both the TV Warehouse and the JML logo, and the rebranding of the Select Warehouse TV channel as TV Warehouse 2.

On February 2, 2009, JML closed the Warehouse TV channel and TV Warehouse 2.

Home & amp; JML DIY was launched on Sky 653 and featured a mix of home and DIY products. Shopping Now TV was relaunched after it was originally replaced in January 2008. This channel is available on Sky 661. This channel shows a mixture of products from around the world. Some used Warehouse TV products are also available on TV Shop Now.

TV Button

Starting April 2009, JML has launched an interactive shopping service available through Miniweb's Mini TV's interactive platform in Sky's interactive menu. To access the service, viewers must go to the Interactive menu in the onscreen guide, follow the link to the TV Lock launch page and enter JML TV Key (565 - equivalent to "JML" on the alphanumeric keypad). This service is promoted by JML through on-screen graphics and short trailers aired on JML channels. JML is not the only shopping channel to operate interactive services; QVC UK operates QVC Active, which can be launched by pressing the red button while watching QVC; and Quite Shopping Quietly has an interactive service for a while.

Active JML

In September 2009, another new channel was launched, replacing the JML Choice simulcast channel. Active JML takes over channel 662 (and live on 656) with a selection of sports, recreation and health products.

On September 30th, 2009, JML broadcasts were discontinued and given back to the original channel operators.

Active JML replaced with Rocks & amp; Program Co. on February 1, 2010.

Freeview

On January 22, 2009, both JML and Rocks & amp; Co. was launched in Freeview as a program block on channel 49. JML is available between 09:00 and 11:00, and 14:00 and 16:00. Stone & amp; Co is also available between 16:00 and 21:00. On 27 February 2009, JML extended its working hours to 07:00 - 16:00 and was set to remain at Freeview until May 11, 2009. However, on March 31, 2009, Rocks & Co. stopped broadcasting its 5-hour block on channel 49 and on April 1, 2009, it was replaced with 5 hours of Gem TV, which took over the slot after closing 3 hours of previous Gems slot on channel 44. JML/Stone & amp; Slot Co (Freeview EPG channel 49) is frequency along with Super Casino (channel EPG 48), and thus JML/R & amp; C can not be broadcast when Super Casino is being aired.

JML/Rocks & amp; Co was scheduled for deletion in May to pave the way for the launch of the Quest, but when the channel's launch was delayed by Discovery Networks UK, Rocks & Co. regains its slot temporarily until the Quest launch. This setting sees infomercial UK Live Shopping in slots from 6 am - 8 am, followed by Rocks & amp; Co Content from 8 am to midnight and then a later Super Casino broadcast feed. This continues until the launch of Quest.

Summer 2009 also sees Rocks & amp; Co took over the 12am-2am slot on the Freeview channel CNN International (EPG 84) which had previously been leased to SuperCasino. This means that until the launch of the Quest, the live broadcast time of R & amp; C is available at Freeview. This step simply closes the Freeview slot and does not affect the CNN train on satellites and cables, which continue to broadcast CNN content in this slot.

On September 30th, 2009, due to the launch of Quest, Rocks & amp; Co. moved as part of the national public retales retune. The broadcast moves from the slot along with SuperCasino (multiplex A) and takes the previously unused 1pm-6pm slot on multiplex D shared with Russia Today, Create and Craft, and Big Deal. Channel number R & amp; C EPG is also moved from 49 to 40. Slot 12 am-2am on channel 84 (CNN) stops broadcasting along with reduced broadcasting hours Stone & amp; Co. . The slot was briefly used by Jewelry Channels , but is now used by TV Gems

On April 12, 2010, JML Direct was added to channel 201 on the local Channel M multiplex in Manchester, but was removed on October 13, 2010.

On March 24th, 2009, JML Home & amp; DIY is launched on channel 808.

On June 16th, 2010, JML Home & amp; DIY moved to channel 810, with JML Direct moved to channel 808 and JML Cookshop moved to channel 809. JML Home & amp; DIY was removed on July 5, 2010. On May 18, 2011, JML Cookshop was removed from Freesat and replaced with JML Choice. On June 15, 2011, JML Cookshop returned to replace JML Choice.
