Europ Help is an international French group, created in 1963 by Pierre Desnos. EA is the first company to provide medical coverage for people traveling overseas. The company currently offers a range of support services in the following areas: roadside assistance, travel insurance, travel assistance, health, identity protection, elderly care, and conciergerie services. This group belongs to Generali, its main shareholder. EA operates through 33 countries worldwide.

History
1960: help birth as a profession
In 1963, with the support of Generali, who was the first shareholder, Pierre Desnos founded Europ Assistance, the first service offering protection to people traveling overseas. The idea came to him after some friends had an accident while on vacation in Spain, an incident that made him aware of the need for emergency assistance services. In 1964, a Belgian subsidiary was established in Brussels, the first subsidiary outside France. In 1965, the company signed an agreement with French aircraft manufacturer Marcel Dassault for the permanent availability of Falcon 20 specifically equipped for medical purposes. In 1967, he offered a USA-Canada subscription. After Belgium, Europ Assistance opened its second subsidiary in Italy in 1968.
1970s: aid service expanded
In 1977, Europ Assistance celebrated its ten million customers and introduced the first contract covering more distant countries such as Brazil and Kenya. The same year, the opening of a subsidiary in Spain. In 1978, Europ Assistance Belgium chartered the first "Snow plane" to repatriate injured Belgian citizens while skiing during a Carnival holiday in the French Alps. Belgium's Europ Assistance repatriated a total of 154 people during the week, including 59 over the weekend in large-scale operations. 1980s: Europ Help beyond Europe

In 1998, 115 million people were covered by companies in the world and 3.75 million cases were handled annually by 2,300 employees.
2000s: Europ Assistance creates Care Services
Europ Assistance launched the first European holiday barometer on a sample of 3,500 Europeans (French, German, English, Italian, Spanish, Belgian, and Austrian), a survey conducted annually to collect information and data on people's vacation plans and customs, based on citizenship. One year later, the opening of a Russian and Czech subsidiary. In 2001, Generali Group acquired 100% capital from Europ Assistance Group and opened a subsidiary in French Polynesia. In 2003, the former chairman of La Poste (the French post office), Martin Vial replaced Yves Galland as Group CEO. A year later, the company moved to Chile and on December 26, after the tsunami in Southeast Asia, the Europ Assistance Group mobilized 150 employees at all times to manage more than 1,000 customers. One year later, along with the French market research firm CSA, the group published the first barometer of health system opinions in five European countries (Germany, France, Britain, Italy and Sweden) and opened subsidiaries in the Bahamas, Canada and Chad. In 2007, Group CEO Martin Vial published " The Care Revolution ", to strengthen the group's position and brand image. In addition, the first "Plug & amp; Sell" online insurance solution was launched, a unique travel insurance platform, which aims to provide more personalized customer service. This global e-commerce platform is designed specifically for travel agencies, tour operators and airlines. Established in 1991, CSA Travel Protection provides customized travel insurance, related products, and comprehensive administrator services to its business partners and traveling communities. They employ over 150 staff members at their offices in San Diego and across the US. CSA Travel Protection is the first company to introduce a vacation rental damage protection plan to the US vacation rental market. They are known for their consumer-conscious business practices. In 2017, CSA Travel Protection won the 11th edition of the Stevie Awards for sales and customer service. Europ Assistance also tested proposed telemedicine interactive solutions in remote areas throughout the Vendor  © e Globe race arena in 2008. In 2009, Europ Assistance partnered with Bradesco Seguros Group to create a joint venture in Brazil. Brazil's Europ aid is now the group's largest company in terms of the labor force that same year the group is expanding into Serbia.
2010s: Europ Assistance committed
In 2010, Europ Assistance created a new global slogan "You live our cares". It creates support for social entrepreneurship of its global commitment in terms of corporate social responsibility and associated with Ashoka. Europ aids the same year became a reference shareholder of OcÃÆ' Â © ey, a French company specializing in direct distribution of teleassistance and opening subsidiaries in Cameroon and Turkey. In 2013, Europ Assistance celebrates 50 years of expertise in serving 300 million customers worldwide and by 2014, Antoine Parisi is appointed CEO of the Europ Assistance Group. In 2016, Europ Assistance North America announces a re-branding to Generali Global Assistance, initially between identity theft and travel assistance services and by 2017, CSA Travel Protection recruited the company into Generali Global Assistance.
