Sterling Commerce is a software company that provides order management, B2B and managed file transfer ("MFT") products like Connect: Direct (originally called Network Data Mover). Sterling Commerce is headquartered near Columbus, Ohio in Dublin, OH. SBC Communications acquires Sterling Commerce (see "Ownership" below), then SBC joins AT & amp; T, which sells Sterling Commerce to IBM. Sterling Commerce's Ohio campus is now IBM's main facility.
